Jody's Notes
Always the problem: how to write about this in a fresh way. (Some people don't feel the problem as intensely as I do--they write in the same old way, and think that's okay.) Allusion is a technique that can help. At least at the moment. (Any approach is exhausted eventually.)
Curve of leg, shoulder
exposed. Later an open window
shedding light like treasure.
Odd how this says so much,
so clearly.
Emotion is translucent, bathed regularly
in human skin: it wastes no
opportunity to pull up the dark,
disinter the blinded sense organ,
demand a report.
If things go well
our lips are sealed regularly.
